Product Overview
3M™ neoprene contact adhesive 5 is a versatile, solvent based adhesive with a low viscosity for spraying. It offers high immediate handling strength and good heat-resistance and is commonly used for bonding most metals and plastics. It is also suitable for large surface panel or composite lamination. Our 3M™ neoprene contact adhesive 5 has been one of our most versatile solvent based adhesives for heavy-duty surface laminations for 60 plus years. It provides excellent heat and water-resistance, performing in temperatures up to 300 deg F. 3M™ neoprene contact adhesive 5 sprays easily and dries quickly while allowing time for positioning without slowing down work processes. 3M™ Neoprene contact adhesive 5 is a sprayable contact adhesive which may be used to bond many high pressure plastic laminates to wood, particle board, metal and other surfaces.
3M Scotch-Weld 5 green neoprene contact adhesive is compatible with fiberboard, metal, plastic and wood materials. Provides a 60 min fixture time. Delivers great performance with a shear strength of 480 psi and peel strength of 10 piw. Maximum operating temperature is +230 F. Comes in a 5 gal Pail. This neoprene contact adhesive meets the following standards: CID A-A-1936A Type:I Grade:A, FS MMM-A-121.
