Product Overview
The SDC 482A1U is a narrow mullion push plate switch from the 480 Series, designed for "Push to Open" activation in access control and automatic door applications. It features a heavy 18-gauge (1.02mm) 630/US32D satin stainless steel faceplate and a heavy-duty 1/8" (3.2mm) mounting plate. The switch measures 1-11/16" wide x 4-1/2" high x 1-5/16" deep, with the entire plate surface activating the Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) contact. It includes a blue infill with the "PUSH TO OPEN" legend and an ADA logo/handicap symbol. The switch is rated for 15 Amps at 125/250VAC and 2 Amps at 48VDC, and is UL 1054 and CSA Listed, ensuring ADA compliance. It is suitable for recessed, surface box, or bollard mounting, specifically designed for flush installation into narrow door jambs requiring a narrow mullion preparation.
