Product Overview
The SDC 480 Series 482A4RU is a 4-1/2 inch round push plate switch designed for automatic door activation and request-to-exit applications in ADA compliant installations. It features a Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) momentary contact switch and a "PUSH TO OPEN" legend with an ADA logo, both in blue infill. The faceplate is constructed from heavy 18 gauge (1.02mm) 630/US32D satin stainless steel, with a heavy-duty 1/8 inch (3.2mm) mounting plate. This hardwired switch is rated for 15 Amps at 125/250VAC, or 28VDC for dry contact switching, and is UL 1054 and CSA Listed. It supports recessed mounting in door frames, surface boxes, or bollard installations, with the entire plate surface acting as the activation point.
