Product Overview
The Sea Shield Marine SL-0750 zinc streamline anode collar is specifically designed to protect marine propeller shafts from galvanic corrosion in saltwater environments. Manufactured from pressure die-cast zinc alloy, it conforms to Mil-Spec MIL-A-18001 standards, ensuring effective cathodic protection. This anode collar has a 3/4" (19mm) inner diameter to fit corresponding shafts, with an outer diameter of 1-7/8" (48mm) and a length of 1-3/4" (44mm). Its streamlined "football" shape minimizes turbulence and drag while precise internal sizing ensures maximal contact with the shaft. Installation is facilitated by two deep-slotted stainless steel machine screws, which are captive and feature tapped threads and lock washers to prevent loosening. It is suitable for use on stainless steel or bronze shafts, weighing approximately 0.65 lb.
