Product Overview
The Sea Shield Marine SL-1750 is a streamlined zinc shaft anode collar designed to provide cathodic protection against galvanic corrosion for marine propulsion systems operating in saltwater. This anode is pressure die-cast from zinc material and conforms to U.S. Military Specification MIL-A-18001K for high-grade sacrificial anodes. It is suitable for stainless steel or bronze shafts ranging from 3/4 inch to 4 inches in diameter. Installation is secured with two deep-slotted stainless steel machine screws, engineered to allow for maximum torque during fastening. The design minimizes turbulence and drag on the shaft.
