The Gasket Dry Joint (closed) is a dry marine dry-joint riser gasket. It is for closed cooling-block off the gasket and closed style (blocked water passages). Fit GM V-6 and V-8 engines 4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L, and 6.2L with dry joint exhaust manifold 2002 and newer and GM V-6 and V-8 engines with dry joint exhaust manifold most 2002 and newer. It is designed to reduce the risk of water leaking from the gasket between the exhaust manifold and riser. Water Ingestion is caused most commonly due to using the wrong height risers.
