The new hydraulic outboard steering system from SeaStar Solutions, the HK4500A-3 BayStar Plus kit, outperforms the standard HK4200A-3 BayStar kit by 20%. It is suitable for under 55 mph and 150 hp, single-helm, single-outboard boats. It is designed for high-performance boats with single non-power-assisted outboards up to 300 HP that require maximum steering control and comfort, especially those capable of speeds over 60 MPH. High-performance propellers and jack plates are compatible. Key Features: Kit includes a helm, cylinder, oil, and filler. Intended for use with SeaStar hoses with the part number ho51xx (change xx with the number of feet required in 2 ft increments). With less steering effort, the Baystar + helm is 20% more efficient than the standard Baystar helm. A splash well width of 21 inches (534mm) is required. It fits most outboards with the HC4645-3 small cylinder. Tubing is not included with the BayStar Plus package.
