Epoxy surface port is a surface-mounted version of packer for lower injection pressures and circumstances where drilling into the substrate is not possible. This is commonly used for epoxy injection at relatively low injection pressures. A wide base with holes is recommended for good adhesion. They are glued to the concrete surface. The grout line can then be attached with a quick-connect system. Since most surface ports lack an anti return valve, a seal cap is provided for use after injection. Surface ports are most commonly made from plastic. Surface ports equipped with a zerk fitting to utilize single component injection systems for small epoxy and polyurethane jobs, Injection Screws for the SealBoss Injection Tube Systems for cold joints and other specialty packers.
