Product Overview
No FeedBack (NFB) helm technology locks out steering torque to make steering your boat easier. A good choice for outboard steering and (and other non power-assisted applications), NFB systems like this lock out steering torque to make steering easier. Essentially, the wheel doesn't move until the driver turns it, which makes steering your boat more fun and less work. NFB steering is in use on over 50% of mechanically steered outboards and it is a popular and easy do-it-yourself, "drop-in" replacement that fits into nearly all Morse, Teleflex and SeaStar rotory steering dashboard cutouts. The special design cuts installation time dramatically, and allows you to upgrade to precision steering in practically no time at all. This system gives you the extra muscle of 4.2 turns plus No FeedBack technology to lock out steering loads. No Feedback 4.2 replaces standard Safe-T steering without dash modifications. It makes helm steering much easier and fits where a rack won't! For single-station use. Precision die-cast zinc helm unit uses helical cable assemblies for easy installation. Includes powerful NFB rotary helm, 90 degree bezel, kit and steering cable. Steering wheel and link-arm kits sold separately. This system meets ABYC and NMMA standards.
