The SDC Spacesaver Series of right angle bolt locks, including models like SDC 1091A and SDC 1190A, represents a patented breakthrough in electric locking technology. Designed and manufactured by SDC, these compact, concealed locks allow secure access control installations in virtually any standard door frame or lock stile through a simple mortise cutout making them ideal for both new construction and retrofit applications.
With their concealed installation, enhanced security, and clean architectural aesthetic, Spacesaver locks are trusted in commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities where durability and tamper resistance are paramount.

Automatic relock ball switch:
Keeps bolt retracted when door is open.
Automatically projects the bolt when the door closes, securely locking it.
Field adjustable and bidirectional for use on both swinging and sliding doors.
Freely rotating bolt further enhances tamper resistance.
Field selectable dual voltage (12/24VDC).
Built-in voltage and current spike protection.

1091AIDMR and 1291AHDMR models feature a mechanical release mortise cylinder override, allowing manual unlocking in the event of a power failure or system malfunction.
