Product Overview
The Seymour Midwest LLC 49163 S500 Industrial Super Shovel features a 48-inch precision lathe-turned American Ash hardwood handle. This shovel is equipped with a 14 gauge #2 high-carbon steel blade, heat-treated for durability. The blade incorporates a forward-turned step and cutting teeth, designed for enhanced penetration into hard-packed, rocky, and clay soils, as well as for chopping through roots and sod. The head-to-handle connection is secured by an extended 11-inch tab socket and two solid steel rivets, providing a rigid and reliable tool. The blade measures approximately 9.5 inches wide by 11.5 inches long.
