The Seymour Midwest LLC RM61005 Loop Bolt is a replacement component designed to secure a scythe blade to the snath, which is the handle of the scythe. This bolt is specifically compatible with Seymour snath models SN-1, SN-8, and SN-9. It functions as a critical part of the "patent snath" system, where the tang of the blade passes through the bolt, and tightening cinches the bolt into its mounting collar slot for a secure fit.
