This SharkBite 25550LFA ball valve is a full-port, quarter-turn shut-off device featuring push-to-connect fittings for efficient control of water flow in plumbing and heating systems. Constructed from lead-free DZR brass, it connects without soldering, crimping, or glue to 3/4 inch IPS (Iron Pipe Size) PVC pipe on one end and 3/4 inch CTS (Copper Tube Size) copper, PEX, CPVC, PE-RT, or HDPE pipe on the other. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 200 PSI and a maximum operating temperature of 200°F (93°C). The valve is approved for potable water and hydronic heating applications, certified lead-free to NSF/ANSI 61 and ANSI 372, and meets IAPMO, UPC, IPC, and CSA standards. It can be installed on wet lines, buried underground (with wrapping), or behind walls, offering flexibility for various installation
