Product Overview
This SharkBite 25743LF frost-free sillcock is an outdoor hose faucet designed to prevent freezing in cold climates. It features a 1/2 inch push-to-connect inlet that is compatible with PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, and HDPE pipes, and a 3/4 inch male hose thread (MHT) outlet. The shut-off mechanism is located deep within the heated building wall, allowing water to drain from the exposed pipe section when closed, thereby protecting against freezing and pipe bursts. Constructed from lead-free DZR brass, this sillcock includes an integrated anti-siphon vacuum breaker to prevent backflow contamination and a mounting flange for secure installation. It has a 4-inch thru-wall length. The push-to-connect design allows for quick installation without soldering, clamping, or glue. It is certified ASSE 1019, ANSI/NSF 61, and ANSI/NSF 372 for lead-free compliance. The valve is rated for a maximum working pressure of 125 psi and a maximum working temperature of 180°F
