Product Overview
The SharkBite Max Push-to-Connect Cross Tee, model UR380A or U380LFA, is a plumbing fitting designed to connect four pipe sections, allowing for distribution or collection of water flow within a system. This fitting facilitates installation without the need for soldering, clamps, unions, or glue. It features a lead-free DZR brass body, EPDM O-ring, 304 stainless steel retainer, and 316 stainless steel grab ring. The tee is compatible with 3/4-inch and 1/2-inch nominal pipe sizes of copper (Type K, L, M), CPVC, PEX, PE-RT, and HDPE (SDR-9) tubing. Rated for a maximum working pressure of 250 psi and a maximum temperature of 200°F (93°C), it is certified for potable water supply and hydronic heating applications (up to 50% glycol concentration). Key certifications include ASSE 1061, CSA B125.3, NSF/ANSI 14, NSF/ANSI/CAN 61, and NSF/ANSI/CAN 372. This fitting is approved for underground and behind-the-wall installations, with protective wrapping required for underground burial. It can be rotated after assembly d disassembled using a disconnect tool.
