The SharkBite EB45 Direct SharkBite Pressure Regulating Valve, model PVA08P-DSB-60, is designed to reduce and maintain consistent downstream water pressure in plumbing systems. This valve features integral 1/2 inch SharkBite push-fit connections, compatible with copper, PEX, CPVC, and PE-RT pipes, allowing for installation without soldering, glue, or specialized tools. Constructed with a bronze body and corrosion-resistant brass, stainless steel, and durable polymer components, it is factory set to a 45 PSI outlet pressure, with an adjustable range of 10 to 70 PSI. It can handle a maximum supply line pressure of 200 PSI and is suitable for hot or cold water service up to 180°F. The valve incorporates a modular, half-cartridge design with an integral back-pass check mechanism and a tamper-resistant pressure setting. It is certified lead-free, complying with NSF 372, and is listed by IAPMO and ASSE (cUPC), meeting standards ASSE 1003, CSA B356, ASSE 1061, and NSF/ANSI/CAN 61
