Product Overview
The SharkBite UC008LF PEX Barb Coupling is designed to join two same-sized 1/2-inch PEX or PE-RT pipes within water distribution systems. Constructed from lead-free DZR brass, sometimes referred to as EcoBrass, this fitting offers corrosion resistance and is suitable for both potable water and hydronic heating applications. Installation is achieved using either copper crimp rings or stainless steel clamp rings. It is lead-free compliant and certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61, NSF/ANSI/CAN 372, and ASTM F1807 standards. The coupling is rated for a minimum working temperature of 33°F at 160 psi and a maximum working temperature of 200°F at 80 psi. This product is typically supplied in bulk packagin
