This SharkBite UC072LF PEX Barb x FNPT Thread Adapter is designed to connect 1/2 inch PEX tubing to a 1/2 inch Female NPT threaded connection. Constructed from lead-free, dezincification-resistant (DZR) brass, this fitting ensures long-lasting reliability and corrosion resistance. It is compatible with copper crimp rings or stainless steel clamps. Certified for use in potable water and hydronic heating systems, the adapter has a maximum working pressure of 200 PSI and a maximum working temperature of 200°F (93°C). It is approved for underground installation when properly wrapped and for behind-the-wall applications without access panels.
