The SharkBite UC142LF PEX Barb Male Adapter is designed to connect PEX tubing to male NPT threaded pipes in water distribution and hydronic heating systems. Constructed from lead-free DZR brass, this fitting features a 1-inch barb connection for PEX tubing, compatible with copper crimp rings or stainless steel clamp methods, and a 3/4-inch Male National Pipe Taper (MNPT) threaded connection. It is rated for working pressures up to 200 PSI and temperatures ranging from 33°F to 200°F. The adapter is certified lead-free, complying with U.S. Federal Public Law 111-380 and NSF/ANSI 372. It also meets NSF/ANSI 61 for drinking water safety, NSF/ANSI 14 for performance requirements, and complies with UPC, IPC, cUPC, and ASTM F1807 standard
