The SharkBite UC340LF Lead-Free Drop-Ear Elbow is a plumbing fitting designed to create a 90-degree transition from PEX, CPVC, copper, PE-RT, or HDPE tubing to a 3/4 inch female NPT (FNPT) threaded connection. This elbow features mounting ears with holes for secure attachment to a support surface, commonly used for shower arms and tub spouts. Constructed from DZR (Dezincification Resistant) lead-free brass, it is rated for a maximum working pressure of 200 PSI and a maximum operating temperature of 200°F (93°C). The push-to-connect design allows for quick installation without the need for special tools, soldering, or glue, and the fitting can be rotated after assembly. It is approved for potable water systems and certified to standards such as ASSE 1061, NSF/ANSI 61, and NSF/ANSI 372, meeting UPC, IPC, and cUPC requirements. This fitting is suitable for both behind-the-wall and underground installations, with wrapping required for buried application
