Product Overview
The SharkBite UC526LF PEX Crimp Swivel Adapter is designed to connect 1/2-inch PEX piping to 1/2-inch NPSM (National Pipe Straight Mechanical) male threaded connections. Constructed from lead-free DZR (Dezincification Resistant) brass, this adapter facilitates final fixture connections, such as faucets, with a swivel feature for easier alignment. It is compatible with both copper crimp rings and stainless steel clamp connection methods for securing the PEX pipe. The adapter is certified for use in potable water and hydronic heating systems, meeting standards including NSF/ANSI 61, NSF/ANSI/CAN 372 for lead-free compliance, ASTM F1807, ASTM F877, CSA B137.5, UPC, IPC, and cUPC requirements.
