The SharkBite UC600LF PEX Crimp to Female Sweat Adapter is designed to connect 1/2" PEX tubing to 1/2" copper pipe via a female sweat connection. This adapter is constructed from lead-free dezincification resistant (DZR) brass, ensuring durability and compliance with low-lead regulations. One end features a PEX barb for connection with copper crimp rings or stainless steel clamps, while the other provides a female sweat connection for soldering. It is suitable for potable water distribution and hydronic heating systems, and is rated for a minimum working temperature of 33°F at 160 psi and a maximum working temperature of 200°F at 80 psi. This fitting is approved for underground and behind-the-wall installations, requiring proper wrapping for direct burial. It meets certifications including ASTM F1807, NSF/ANSI 61, and NSF 37
