Product Overview
The SharkBite UR058 is a lead-free DZR brass push-to-connect reducing coupling designed to join pipes of different nominal sizes without soldering, clamps, unions, or glue. This fitting connects 1/2 inch nominal pipe to 3/4 inch nominal pipe and is compatible with copper, PEX, CPVC, PE-RT, and HDPE SDR-9 tubing. It features stainless steel teeth that grip the pipe and an EPDM O-ring for a watertight seal. The fitting can be installed on wet lines, rotated after installation, and removed using a disconnect clip or tool. It is rated for a maximum pressure of 200 PSI and a maximum temperature of 200°F (93°C). The SharkBite UR058 is certified lead-free to ANSI/NSF-61 and NSF/ANSI/CAN 372 standards, and listed by ASSE 1061, CSA B125.3, IAPMO, UPC, IPC, and cUPC for use in potable water and radiant heating applications.
