Product Overview
The SharkBite UR068 Push-to-Connect Adapter, part of the SharkBite Max series, facilitates connections between 1/2 inch PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, or HDPE (SDR-9) pipes and 3/4 inch female NPT threaded fittings. Constructed from high-performance, lead-free DZR brass with a stainless steel retainer, this adapter is rated for up to 400 PSI and 200°F (93°C). It enables quick, tool-free installation without soldering, clamps, unions, or glue, and can be rotated after installation. Certified lead-free to NSF/ANSI 61 and 372, and compliant with ASSE 1061, UPC, IPC, and CSA standards, it is approved for potable water, hydronic heating systems, and suitable for underground (when wrapped) and behind-the-wall application
