Product Overview
The SharkBite UR116 Max Push-to-Connect Male NPT Adapter is a plumbing fitting designed to connect 1/2-inch Copper, PEX, CPVC, PE-RT, or HDPE SDR-9 pipe to a 3/4-inch Male National Pipe Taper (MNPT) threaded connection. Constructed from lead-free DZR brass, this adapter facilitates quick and secure installations without the need for soldering, crimping, or specialized tools. It is rated for a maximum pressure of 200 PSI and a maximum operating temperature of 200°F (93°C). The fitting is approved for use in potable water systems and hydronic heating applications, including underground and behind-wall installations (with proper silicone wrap for underground burial). It can be installed on wet lines and rotated after assembly. This adapter is certified to various standards including NSF, ASSE 1061, CSA B125.3, NSF/ANSI 14, ANSI/NSF-61, and NSF/ANSI 372 for lead-free compliance, and meets UPC, IPC, and cUPC requirement
