The SharkBite UR134 Max Push-to-Connect Male Adapter is designed to connect 3/4 inch copper, PEX, CPVC, PE-RT, or HDPE pipe to a 3/4 inch Male National Pipe Taper (MNPT) threaded connection. Constructed from lead-free DZR brass with a stainless steel retainer, this fitting is suitable for potable water and hydronic heating applications. Installation requires no soldering, crimping, glue, or special tools, and it can be installed on wet lines. The adapter is rotatable after installation and approved for both underground use (when wrapped with silicone) and behind-the-wall installations without access panels. It is rated for pressures up to 400 PSI and temperatures up to 200°F (93°C). This fitting complies with various standards including ASSE 1061, CSA B125.3, NSF/ANSI 14, 61, and 372, and is listed by IAPMO, UPC, IPC, and cUP
