Product Overview
The SharkBite Max UR24680 Water Heater Connection Kit provides a push-to-connect solution for installing or replacing water heaters. This kit includes two 3/4 inch FIP x 3/4 inch SharkBite Max 18 inch corrugated stainless steel water heater connectors; one connector features an integrated ball valve for shut-off. Designed for use with PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, and HDPE (with stiffener) piping, the lead-free DZR brass body and stainless steel components ensure durability. The connectors are rated for temperatures up to 180°F and pressures up to 200 psi. Installation does not require special tools, soldering, or glue, and the connections can be made on wet lines and rotated after installation. It is certified to NSF/ANSI 61, NSF/ANSI/CAN 372, ASME A112.18.6/CSA B125.6, and ASME A112.4.14/CSA B125.14 standards
