Product Overview
The SharkBite UR274 Max is a lead-free dezincification-resistant (DZR) brass push-to-connect 90-degree reducing elbow fitting designed for joining different pipe sizes in potable water and hydronic heating systems. It connects 3/4-inch and 1/2-inch copper, PEX, CPVC, PE-RT, and HDPE pipe without the need for soldering, clamps, unions, or glue. The fitting features a 316 stainless steel grab ring and EPDM O-ring for a secure, leak-free seal and can be rotated after assembly for easier installation. Rated for a maximum pressure of 400 PSI and a maximum temperature of 200°F (93°C), it is certified lead-free to federal law 111-380. This fitting is design certified to ASSE 1061, NSF/ANSI 14, 61, and 372 standards, is IAPMO listed, and meets UPC, IPC, and cUPC requirements. It is approved for underground applications (with proper wrapping) and behind walls without access panel
