Product Overview
The SharkBite Max UR412 is a lead-free push-to-connect reducing tee fitting designed for branching a plumbing line. Constructed from DZR (Dezincification Resistant) brass, this fitting connects 3/4-inch by 3/4-inch by 1/2-inch pipes. It is compatible with PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, and HDPE SDR-9 pipes. The fitting can withstand pressures up to 250 psi and temperatures up to 200°F (93°C). Installation requires no special tools, soldering, crimping, or glue, allowing for connections on wet lines and rotation after assembly. It is certified to ASSE 1061, NSF/ANSI 61, and NSF/ANSI 372 standards for potable water applications and is approved for underground and behind-the-wall use, though underground brass installations require silicone wra
