Product Overview
USCG compliant fuel hose for that will stand up to the elements Using the right hose for the job makes all the difference. It speeds up installation and prevents having to go back to re-do the job if a surveyor calls out that fuel line does not meet the requirements. Shields Series 365 hose is the right tool for jobs that must meet USCG Type A1-15 requirements and involve installations with limited clearances. Series 368 is able to make tight radius bends without collapsing and compromising fuel flow. Its special design makes connecting to fittings easier. This polyester reinforced fire resistant hose incorporates an embedded plastic barrier and Nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) outer layer to limit permeation to comply with EPA and CARB requirements. An additional NBR/PVC cover give this hose better UV and weather resistance compared to Series 368 hose. Available in four sizes, 368 is ideal for fuel feed lines for outboards, inboards, and inboard/outboards using gasoline (up 85% ethanol blends) or diesel (including all bio-diesel blends). Sold by the foot (up to 50 ft continuous length) so that you can buy only what you need.
