Product Overview
Shurtape T-Rex PC 745 cloth tape is engineered for heavy-duty repairs and demanding sealing applications. It features a waterproof polyethylene film backing with a cloth carrier, reinforced with Polybonded CO-EX Technology® to prevent delamination. The tape utilizes a double-thick, natural rubber adhesive, providing aggressive adhesion to various surfaces, including brick, concrete, wood, and vinyl. This black tape measures 48mm (1.88 inches) in width and 30 yards in length, with a nominal thickness of 16 mil. It offers a tensile strength of 47 lbs/in and adheres to stainless steel with 150 oz/in. The tape is suitable for use in temperatures ranging from 32°F to 200°F (0°C to 93°C). Applications include seaming and sealing bottom board materials in pre-manufactured housing and RV assembly, surface protection in metal-peening operations, and general heavy-duty repairs on rough or dirty surfaces. It is tested in accordance with UL 723 standards. The manufacturer part number is PC 745 and the product identiis 242974.
