Marine engine oil formulated for emission catalyst systems. Sierra catalyst compatible engine oil (CAT oil) delivers the same industry leading protection against wear and deposits as their other oils and is approved for used in any 4-stroke marine engine, but was specifically engineered to reduce prevent phosphorous depletion to extend the life of emission catalyst systems. This mineral based oil provides extra protection for the extremes experienced in the marine applications while also providing added corrosion protection to internal engine parts. Sierra catalyst oil resists thermal and oxidative breakdown and features viscosity stabilizers that prevent thinning in high temperature conditions.
