Product Overview
Synthetic blended oil formulated specifically for inboard marine engines. Marine engines operate in a completely different environment from your car's engine; marine engines experience higher loads and are stressed more than automotive engines. For this reason Sierra formulated this synthetic blend using premium grade synthetic oil and high quality mineral based oil to provide excellent lubrication and prevent thermal breakdown caused by high RPM s and extreme temperatures. A collection of additives are combined to provide corrosion protection, high detergency, anti-wear and anti-oxidants and reduce the impact of higher marine loads while reducing deposits, wear and tear on internal engine components and ring sticking. Sierra engineered this oil to meet or exceed the required specifications for engine manufacturers to stay compliant with their warranties.
