The Simmons IWSL-4 is a 90-degree steel well seal elbow designed for use with polyethylene (PE) pipe in water well systems. Featuring 1-inch insert x insert connections, this pipe fitting is typically installed in well pits to facilitate directional changes from vertical well pipes to horizontal service lines for pump houses or residences. Its long, sweeping bend helps reduce friction loss, promoting efficient operation of deep well jet pumps. This elbow also functions to seal the well casing, preventing surface water and contaminants from entering the well. It is suitable for both shallow and deep well jet pump installations.
