  • Galvanized (G90) for extra corrosion resistance
  • Keeps floor system continuity and prevents joist rotation
  • Installs with built-in prongs that eliminate nail squeaks
  • Support floor joists with a depth-to-thickness ratio of six or more with bridging at intervals not exceeding 8 ft, if span is greater than 8 ft, install on 2 x 8 or larger joists, if span is greater than 16 ft, use more than one pair

Product Overview
COMP BRIDGING GALV 20GA 2X8-16

The NCA provides bracing between floor joists as a critical contribution to the structural strength of a floor. Installed in pairs, this nail less compression bridging keeps joists in place and prevents them from rotating while distributing loads over more than one joist. The NCA features precision-formed V-shaped prongs, in place of nails, to provide a secure grip before the drive-home blow for deeper prong penetration.
