The Select Hinges SL11 CL HD600 83 VD-EPT is a concealed geared continuous hinge, fabricated from extruded 6063 T6 aluminum alloy and equipped with self-lubricating polyester thrust bearings. Measuring 83 inches in length, this heavy-duty (HD600) hinge is engineered to support doors weighing up to 600 pounds with Rivnuts or 450 pounds without additional reinforcement, and is BHMA A156.26-2006 Grade 1 certified. It incorporates an Electric Power Transfer (EPT) prep, designed to accommodate Von Duprin EPT units for transmitting electrical power to electrified door hardware. This hinge provides full-length door support, enhancing door security, weatherproofing, and distributing weight evenly to reduce wear. It features a clear anodized aluminum finish and is UL listed (UL10B, UL10C) with a standard 90-minute fire rating.
