The CONTINUOUS HINGE, FULL SURFACE STANDARD DUTY, 83 INCHES DARK BRONZE is a geared continuous hinge designed for full surface mounting applications. Constructed from Aluminum 6063 T6, this hinge is suitable for various door types. It features a 83" length and is designed to fit narrow 7/8" frame faces. The hinge includes a tamper-resistant, removable door leaf cover and a 1/16" door inset. It is compatible with 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" doors using standard barrel nuts, with long barrel nuts available for 2" to 2-1/4" doors. This hinge is non-handed and utilizes thrust bearings for operation. It meets ANSI/BHMA A156.26-2006 Grade 1 standards. The hinge supports door widths up to 48". Load capacity varies by frequency: up to 200 lbs for high-frequency, 400 lbs for medium-frequency, and 600 lbs for low-frequency doors when using Rivnuts in the frame.
