Product Overview
The Southwire 144R is a clamp-type electrical connector designed for securing non-metallic (NM) and service entrance (SE) cables to steel outlet boxes or other metal enclosures. Constructed from zinc die-cast, this two-screw connector is UL Listed for both the US and Canada. It is intended for indoor use only in dry locations and is non-watertight. The connector fits into a 1-1/4 inch trade size knockout. It accommodates various NM cable sizes, including 8-3, 6-3, 4-3, and 2-3 AWG, and SE cable sizes such as 10-2, 8-2, 6-2, and 4-2 AWG. It also fits NM cable types #14/2, #12/2, and #12/3 AWG.
