Product Overview
This Southwire knockout seal, identified by manufacturer code 150.1R and often referenced as KO50 or PK050, is designed to cover and seal unused 1/2-inch trade size knockout holes in electrical boxes, junction boxes, and other metal enclosures. Constructed from corrosion-resistant 6/6 nylon, molded in a silver-gray color, it features a snap-in design with locking fingers to ensure a secure fit. The seal prevents the entry of dust, moisture, and foreign objects, thereby protecting internal wiring, reducing the risk of electrical shock, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes. It is UL Recognized under File #E-15331 and has pending CSA certification, suitable primarily for indoor electrical installations.
