Product Overview
This Spears Manufacturing Co. CPVC ball valve (MPN 1922R-005, KBI code CBV-0500-S) is designed for regulating or shutting off fluid flow in plumbing and hot/cold water distribution systems. Constructed from Noveon FlowGuard Gold CPVC (CPVC Type IV, ASTM D 1784 Cell Classification 23447), it offers corrosion resistance and is suitable for potable water applications. The valve features a full port design to minimize pressure drop and an EPDM stem seal. It incorporates a patented Cam-lok design (U.S. Patent #5,308,039) and is typically supplied with socket end connections. The valve is pressure rated to 100 psi at 180°F (or 400 psi at 73°F). It complies with ASTM and ANSI standards, is NSF listed for potable water use, and IAPMO (UPC) listed, adhering to low-lead plumbing laws. The product is molded in the USA by KB
