Product Overview
This Spears Manufacturing Co. 4106-130 CPVC Copper Tube Size (CTS) reducing elbow is an injection-molded fitting designed to change the direction of flow by 90 degrees and reduce pipe size in plumbing systems. Manufactured from Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC), it features 1-inch and 1/2-inch nominal socket ends for solvent weld connections. The fitting is rated for a continuous working pressure of 100 psi at 180°F and 400 psi at 73°F. It is NSF International certified for potable water applications, lead-free, and conforms to ASTM D 2846 standards for hot and cold water distribution systems. CPVC material offers excellent corrosion resistance, preventing issues such as rust, scaling, and pitting common with metallic piping. It is suitable for residential and commercial hot and cold water plumbing application
