Product Overview
The Spears Manufacturing Co. 4129-130 is a CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride) Copper Tube Size (CTS) reducing coupling designed to connect two CPVC pipes of different diameters. This fitting features socket ends for solvent welding, allowing it to join a 1-inch CTS CPVC pipe to a 1/2-inch CTS CPVC pipe. Made from CPVC material, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and is suitable for hot and cold potable water distribution systems, with a continuous working pressure rating of 100 psi at 180°F and 400 psi at 73°F. It conforms to ASTM D2846 specifications for CPVC plastic hot and cold water distribution systems and is NSF International listed for potable water service under NSF Standards 14 and 61, ensuring it is lead-free. The material meets ASTM D1784 cell classification 2344
