Product Overview
The Spears Manufacturing Co. 4135-005OR is a 1/2 inch Copper Tube Size (CTS) Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) female adapter with a gasket. Designed for use in hot and cold water distribution systems, this fitting connects CPVC piping to a female threaded connection. It features a socket end for solvent welding to CPVC pipe and a National Pipe Straight Coupling (NPSC) threaded end, incorporating a gasket for a secure seal. The adapter has a continuous working pressure rating of 100 psi at 180°F (82°C) or 400 psi at 73°F (23°C). It conforms to ASTM D2846 for CPVC plastic hot and cold water distribution systems and is NSF® Certified lead-free for potable water applications under NSF Standard 1
