This Spears Manufacturing Co. 4135-007OR female adapter is designed for connecting 3/4 inch Copper Tube Size (CTS) CPVC piping within plumbing systems. Made from Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC), this fitting offers enhanced temperature and chemical resistance, making it suitable for both hot and cold potable water applications. It features a socket connection for solvent welding to one end of a CPVC pipe and an NPSC (National Pipe Straight Coupling) threaded female connection for mechanical attachment. An integrated gasket ensures a reliable, leak-proof seal. The fitting is compliant with ASTM D2846 for hot and cold water distribution systems, NSF certified for potable water use, and lead-free. It has a continuous working pressure rating of 100 psi at 180°F (82°C) and 400 psi at 73°F (23�
