The Spears Manufacturing Co. 4136-005SS (TMS-0500) EverTUFF series adapter is a 1/2 inch CPVC Stainless Steel Transition Male Adapter designed for connecting CPVC tubing to IPS (Iron Pipe Size) threaded pipe. It features a molded CPVC body with a 304 Stainless Steel Male Iron Pipe Thread (MIPT) end and a Copper Tube Size (CTS) Socket end, with an internal knurl and EPDM O-ring for sealing. The adapter is equipped with a large Stainless Steel hex for easy connection and is galvanically compatible with brass and copper in potable water systems. It complies with all Low-Lead plumbing laws, meets/exceeds ASTM and ANSI standards, including ASTM D2846 for CPVC hot and cold water distribution systems, and is NSF/ANSI 61/372 certified for potable water use. This tan-colored fitting has a continuous working pressure rating of 100 psi at 180°F (82°C) and up to 400 psi at 73°F (23°C), and is 25-50 Flame & Smoke Rated (water fill
