The Spears Manufacturing Co. 4136-007BC is a 3/4 inch CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride) CTS (Copper Tube Size) male adapter. This fitting features a male iron pipe thread (MIPT) on one end, designed to connect to female NPT (National Pipe Taper) threaded fittings, and a socket end for solvent welding to CPVC CTS pipe. Constructed from CPVC, it is suitable for use in hot and cold potable water distribution systems, with typical pressure ratings of 100 psi at 180°F (82°C) or 400 psi at 73°F (23°C). CPVC offers corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, and high temperature durability, making it an alternative to metal piping. This product meets standards such as ASTM D2846 and is NSF certified for potable water applicati
