Product Overview
This Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) 22.5 degree elbow, sometimes called a sixteenth bend, is designed to change the direction of flow in a piping system. Featuring Schedule 40 wall thickness, it is rated for a maximum service temperature of 140°F (60°C). Both ends feature a hub (socket) connection, designed for solvent welding with PVC cement and primer to create a secure, leak-free joint. It is manufactured by Spears Manufacturing Co. under model number 416-010BC. These fittings typically conform to ASTM D1784 for material and ASTM D2466 for fittings, and are often NSF certified for potable water service, making them suitable for a range of residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing application
