Product Overview
This 3/4 inch CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride) union fitting is designed for connecting sections of CPVC piping within plumbing systems, allowing for convenient disconnection and reassembly for maintenance or repair without cutting the pipe. It features Copper Tube Size (CTS) dimensions and Socket x Socket (SXS) ends, intended for solvent welding to CPVC pipe. Manufactured by Spears Manufacturing Co. (model CU-0750-S, MPN 4197-007), it incorporates an EPDM O-ring seal and has a tan color. This fitting is pressure rated for continuous working pressure up to 100 psi at 180°F (82°C), or 400 psi at 73°F (23°C). It meets or exceeds ASTM D2846 standards for hot and cold water distribution systems and is NSF certified for potable water applicati
