Product Overview
This Spears Manufacturing CPVC stop valve (model SCC-0750-S, part number 8422-007) is designed for use in chlorinated poly(vinyl chloride) (CPVC) plastic hot and cold water distribution systems. It features 3/4 inch Copper Tube Size (CTS) Hub x CTS Hub connections and is pressure rated to 100 psi at 180°F. The valve is constructed with a CPVC body and bonnet, an ABS handle, and a polypropylene stem with an EPDM stem seal. It includes a side port for draining the non-pressure side of the system. The valve conforms to ASTM D 2846 Specification for CPVC plastic hot and cold water distribution systems, is listed by IAPMO as meeting Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) requirements, and is NSF Standard 61 listed for potable water use, meeting lead-free requirements. It meets or exceeds all applicable ASTM and ANSI standards
