Product Overview
This Spears Manufacturing Co. (MPN: DE4107-005CSS) 90-degree drop ear elbow is a CPVC fitting designed to change the direction of flow in plumbing systems. Constructed from a molded CPVC body with a stainless steel insert, it features a 1/2-inch Copper Tube Size (CTS) socket connection on one end and a 1/2-inch Female Iron Pipe Thread (FIPT) with a stainless steel insert on the other. An internal knurl and EPDM o-ring ensure connection integrity. The drop ear design includes lugs for secure fastening. It meets or exceeds ASTM and ANSI standards, with Spears CPVC CTS fittings conforming to ASTM D2846. It has a continuous working pressure rating of 100 psi at 180°F (82°C) and 400 psi at 73°F (23°C).
